StageConnect Interface with 16 XLR Inputs, Dual ULTRANET Outputs and Phantom or External Power Supply
The Midas DN4816-I provides a dead-simple solution for piping 16 channels of analog audio over a StageConnect network. This bus-powered interface features 16 line-level analog inputs, plus two Ethernet ports: one to connect to Ultranet receivers, and a second to output the 16 onboard analog input channels. Configuring the DN4816-I for either Slave or Master mode is a piece of cake via a built-in Synchronization switch. You also get an LED that indicates a successful connection to a StageConnect network, plus a power LED and a USB port for firmware updates. Here at Sweetwater, we've used the DN4816-I to route analog console outputs to a personal monitoring system, as a stagebox for a digital console, and a whole host of other essential applications. If you want to route 16 channels of analog audio over a convenient Ethernet cable, the Midas DN4816-I is a great way to go.
The StageConnect interface can be connected to other StageConnect devices using a single XLR cable for multi-channel audio transmission. There are various I/O options available providing easily scalable connectivity in your side rack. The devices of the DN48XX Series can be daisy-chained and will negotiate the channels for their respective connectivity automatically.
