JAM is designed to capture the true tone and warmth of electric guitars. Perfect for any playing style and genre of music, JAM lets you record, practice, and jam with the authentic sound and responsive feel of a classic tube amp.

Dynamic Microphones
While JAM is optimized for electric instruments such as guitar and bass, you can record vocals, acoustic instruments, or even your guitar amp by connecting a microphone such as an SM58 to JAM. With its 40dB of input gain, JAM can be used with certain dynamic microphones by using an XLR to ¼”cable or adapter.

Electric Bass
JAM is an ideal tool for recording electric bass guitar. From jazz to hard rock, JAM recordings reflect all of the sonic clarity and detail of your bass playing and tone.

Acoustic Guitar with pickup
JAM is also perfectly suited to record acoustic guitars with a built-in pickup. Simply plug an instrument cable from your acoustic guitar directly into JAM – just as you would for an electric guitar – and experience the same great clarity and recording quality across all styles of playing.

Keyboards and Synthesizers
Keyboard players can enjoy the ease and superb recording quality of JAM as well. Simply connect any keyboard or synthesizer with a mono output to JAM, set your level, and capture your favorite sounds in terrific detail.

Record Audio for Video
The Padcaster
Record professional quality audio for video with JAM and The Padcaster, a lightweight iPad frame that allows you to attach lenses, lights or audio peripherals to its surface, making it easy for anyone to capture broadcast quality videos in remote locations entirely on iPad. JAM can easily be attached to the side of Padcaster  – simply connect JAM to the iPad and any analog microphone such as a shotgun or lavaliere to JAM’s 1/4″ input.
