The RX900M (mono) ENG Receiver is compatible with the TRX900, TRX900AA and all other mono Zaxcom Digital Wireless transmitters.  It has a low power consumption and can be powered either internally with four AA Lithium batteries or externally with a 9 to 18 VDC power supply. The RX900S (stereo) ENG Receiver is compatible with the TRX900, TRX900AA, TRX992 and all other Zaxcom Digital Wireless transmitters.  It has a low power consumption and can be powered either internally with four AA Lithium batteries or externally with a 9 to 18 VDC power supply. The RX4900 is a single rack unit containing four stereo receivers.  It has the capability of receiving eight channels of audio while used with stereo transmitters.  The RX4900 provides all necessary power and antenna distribution internally for each of its four receivers.  The antenna inputs of the RX4900 have a complimentary loop output so multiple RX4900's can be connected to a single antenna system.

IFB100 ERX Series  
     
 
     

he IFB100 transmits IFB audio, timecode and remote control signals to the TRX900 series digital wireless transceivers on a single RF carrier using a 2.4 GHz signal.  It can be used license-free in almost every country.

The IFB100 can be used in an array of applications - on your sound cart, in a studio or on the side of your video camera.  The left side has dedicated connectors for:  two audio inputs, timecode in/out and power in.  The front has a graphic LCD screen indicating the transmitter status and timecode display.

IFB audio is accepted from a balanced audio connector at line-level.  The built-in 2-channel audio mixer can combine two separate channels of audio onto the mono digital transmission of the IFB100.

The timecode reader / generator runs at all common frame-rates and directly accepts SMPTE timecode from an external source.  It can continuously jam external timecode or free run.

As a timecode and remote control transmitter, the IFB100 is compatible with both the TRX series digital wireless and the ZFR100 flash recorder.  Settings such as body pack audio gain and RF frequency are adjustable - even while the transmitter is in use.

The IFB100 transmitter makes it easy to have a virtual multi-track recording.  It’s easily achieved by sending timecode to multiple TRX’s or ZFR’s at the same time – their recordings all have the same timecode that easily matches up in Post. (Pat Pend)

The RF power output is 100 mW.  IFB audio has a range of approximately 150 feet, timecode and remote control commands have a range of approximately 500 feet.

The new ERX1 & ERX1TCD Encrypted IFB bodypacks receive high quality digital audio, timecode and metadata from a Zaxcom IFB transmitter.  They have an LCD display for showing timecode and current Scene and Take metadata in realtime with a hold button for script supervisors.

The ERX1TCD has a built-in timecode reader/generator and output to continuously jam digital slates ensuring no timecode drift between Deva/Fusion and the slate.  The timecode will stay accurate even in the case of an extended RF dropout.  It will also communicate the Scene and Take metadata to ZaxNet compatible digital slates for display when the clapper is activated.

The ERX1TCD also has the ability to delay the received audio signal by up to 300ms or 10 video frames. This is used to provide a personal audio delay to match the viewing of your scene on different monitors or cameras that can have different video delays due to video signal processing. When used with ZaxNet the delay can be set differently between live recording and playback modes.

The ERX1 and ERX1TCD contain a 1 kHz notch filter to eliminate the transmission of tone that is sometimes sent from the mixing console.  The notch filter frequency is adjustable and using the notch filter won’t affect the quality of the IFB audio.

The ERX1 and ERX1TCD are compatible with the IFB100 2.4 GHz transmitter.
