XDCAM HD CineAlta Professional Cameras

PDW-F330 - CineAlta HD Professional Camera

The PDW-F330 XDCAM T HD camcorder offers a choice of 60i/50i or true 24P/25P/30P recording with over 2 hours of recording time on Professional DiscT media. Other features include HD recording in 1080/59.94i, 50i, 29.97P, 25P and native 23.98P and the operator can also select the desired bit rate to record in, either 35, 25 or 18 Mb/s depending on the desired picture quality and recording length. Being a dual format camcorder, it can also record in SD mode at 25 Mb/s (DVCAMT).

PDW-F350 - CineAlta HD Professional Camera

The latest addition to Sony's HD camcorder range is a highly versatile and cost effective production tool. It offers multi-frame CineAlta recording (23.98P, 25P, 29.97P, 50i or 59.94i) as well as what is commonly known as "overcranking" and "undercranking" (Slow & Quick Motion).

PDWF70 - XDCAM HD RECORDER/PLAYER

The PDW-F70 XDCAM™ HD recording deck can record and playback 1080i video lines of multiple frame rates at a high bit rate of up to 35 Mb/s on Professional Disc™ media.

The PDW-F70 XDCAM HD deck records and plays Professional Disc HD material at 1080/59.94i, 50i, 29.97P, 25P and native 23.98P using the “MPEG HD” codec that uses the industry standard MPEG-2 MP@HL compression.

For high quality sound, four channel, 16 bit, 48 kHz uncompressed audio is used. The deck also can downconvert MPEG HD material to DV signals and output via the i.LINK™ interface. The PDW-F70 can also up-convert DVCAM material to HD signals and output via the HDSDI or HD analogue component connection.

MPEG HD recording at 35, 25 and 18 Mb/s via HD-SDI, HD analog component and RGB input (HD analog component and RGB input requires the optional PDBK-103 board)

Up-conversion recording (requires the optional PDBK-104 board): Input from SD-SDI or SD composite connectors can be recorded in the MPEG HD format.

Gigabit Ethernet capability for network-based .le transfer (requires the optional PDBK-101 board) A simple Remote Commander unit is supplied.

PDW-F30 XDCAM HD Digital Video Player

PDW-F30 XDCAM™ HD NLE feeder deck plays back 60i/50i and true 24P/25P/30P with compatible play back of variable frame rates.

The PDW-F30 XDCAM™ HD player deck plays back Professional Disc™ media recorded in the MPEG HD format and can also down-convert this material to DV output.

The deck will also play back DVCAM material and offers upconversion to HD output capability. An optional board also allows input and output of 25 Mb/s MPEG-2 TS (Transport Stream) for easy integration with HDV equipment and nonlinear editors.
