Staff Profile – Glenn Miers

In doubt about who’s who at Protel, what we do and how we can help? Get to know us a little better through this on-going series introducing the people of Protel.

Glenn works out of our Wellington office and has been with us for over four years. He is basically your go-to guy for everything video covering the central North Island to Stewart Island. Glenn’s all lights, cameras and action! When it comes to after hours if he’s not making movies he’s watching them. (With a growing library of over five hundred DVDs at home we wonder how he has time to shoot as well.) Glenn is a founding member of the successful Dog Films Collective, and produced and directed their movie “Balls and Chain” which won the Wellington Regional’s of this year’s V48 Hours Film Competition to compete at the Nationals. Awesome! On his breaks during the day (when he’s lucky enough to get them) you’ll often find him hiding in the lunchroom, head buried in a Sci-Fi or Fantasy novel.
Coffee of choice: Latte large two sugars.

G-Technology Storage Solutions

Having recently been in the US and wanting to check-out an iPad (as you do) I popped into a couple of Apple Stores and couldn’t help notice their shelves were loaded with G-Technology hard drives. It’s no small feat for a manufacturer to get product into an Apple Store so Apple is obviously very confident with the reliability, performance, support, and price that G-Technology delivers on. Not forgetting stylish as well. Protel represents G-Technology here and we carry an extensive range at all times. If it’s good enough for Apple Stores it’s good enough for us.
