Combining a robust, scalable delivery framework with full-featured, flexible receiving and repurposing appliances, MediaMesh provides efficient, automated delivery of digital media between content providers, contributors, aggregators and distribution partners. MediaMesh enables fully digital distribution of HD, SD and Digital Cinema content over public and private terrestrial IP networks and satellites, providing exceptional efficiency and significant cost savings.
Digital Rapids has unveiled enhancements to the award-winning TouchStream live streaming appliance. Administrators can configure a custom set of interface controls to be locked with a password, limiting the functions available to basic users to as little as desired. Taking one click streaming a step further to no clicks at all. TouchStream can also be configured to begin streaming upon power up, without user interaction.
Powerful new features have been added to the Digital Rapids Transcode Manager automated media transcoding software. Mirroring the enhancements in the 3.1 software for StreamZ and StreamZHD, new Transcode Manager features include creation of file-based content for Microsoft IIS Smooth Streaming; expanded format support; Active Format Description (AFD) insertion; and embedding of SCTE 35 cues for downstream ad replacement.
