Superior Sound
Whether you’re recording vocals, drums, orchestra, dialog, guitars, or Foley, Pro Tools allows you to capture audio at maximum fidelity. With resolutions up to 24-bit/192 kHz using Pro Tools|HD and up to 24-bit/96 kHz using Pro Tools LE or M-Powered, you achieve uncompromising sound quality.
Flexible Workflows
You can adapt your recording style to the kind of work you’re doing, with flexible features for loop recording, punch recording, playlists, I/O routing, and more. Pro Tools is also the ultimate digital mixer, supporting mono and standard multichannel formats up to 7.1, and offering the most powerful automation system available.
Loop Record | Punch Perfection | Slow Down
Pro Tools provides powerful loop recording features, allowing you to quickly record multiple takes of a performance without sacrificing spontaneity. You can also quickly build up MIDI arrangements via loop recording. Using MIDI Merge, Pro Tools will record and merge MIDI to the same region with each new record pass — perfect for drum programing!
Punch Your Way to Perfection - Pro Tools QuickPunch and TrackPunch allow you to nondestructively punch in and out of record mode on audio tracks during playback in various ways. DestructivePunch is also available for the truly daring, as it maintains a single continuous audio file, even after multiple punch recordings.
Slow It Down With Pro Tools, you can play and record at half-speed and then play back at normal speed, similar to a traditional tape deck. You can also reverse the process by recording at normal speed and playing back at half-speed to interesting effect.
