Audient

Audient design and build quality analogue solutions for today's digital-dominated world. Audient is commitment to developing tools for the analogue recording world, whilst embracing and integrating with workstation based systems.

Consoles Microphone Preamplifiers Monitor Controllers Black Series

Audient's latest console, ASP2802, borrows the world-class technology of the flagship ASP8024 and continues the computer integration started by the Zen - combining it into a traditional analogue console that offers sophisticated DAW control to boot.

The high quality microphone preamplifiers in the ASP8024 have received glowing tributes ever since they were released. So it made sense to implement the same technology in a selection of preamp units that are now regular fixtures in studios across the world.

Audient's expertise in engineering world-class analogue products transfers perfectly to signal processing units. By focusing on signal fidelity and simplicity of use, Audient's signal processors offer an unparalleled balance of features, quality and value.

The Black Series is a modular rack system combining the pristine, uncoloured audio path normally associated with Audient, with an extremely varied palette of tonal colours provided by the unique, discrete, and transformer coupled circuitry.

Featured Product - ASP2802

Classic analogue meets sophisticated control

ASP2802 heralds the arrival of Audient’s Dual Layer Technology, combining classic analogue console features with extensive DAW integration and control. ASP2802 becomes the true centre of any studio, offering comprehensive analogue routing and mixing with effortless control over your favourite recording software and plug ins.

The high resolution signal path is based on the design of the now classic ASP8024, employing the same renowned bus architecture and directly sharing the mic preamp topology and bus compressor design. We’ve drawn on David Dearden’s wealth of experience and the evolution of his designs going back to the 1970’s, combining the benefits of traditional discrete circuitry with the latest advances in audio design technology. ASP2802 offers the ultimate combination of big console sound and features along with sophisticated control of your DAW, all in a compact and affordable form.

ASP2802 – Take control, with twice the power!

Utilising Audient’s innovative Dual Layer Technology, ASP2802 integrates with your computer system providing extensive control of your DAW session via the console’s control surface. The Dual Layer allows you to switch between the analogue layer, i.e. the traditional mixer path that travels through the console and the DAW layer that exists within your computer session. This provides hands-on control of transport, plug-ins, DAW auxes, DAW automation, analogue console automation and project navigation within your DAW.

ASP2802 takes full advantage of the recording and processing power of your DAW software, providing precise control of these functions whilst enjoying the sonic benefits and convenient workflow of the analogue domain.
