Do I qualify for a free upgrade?
You’re eligible to receive a free upgrade to Media Composer 6 if you meet one of the following requirements:
- You purchased and registered a full, upgrade, or crossgrade (from FCP) version of Media Composer 5.5 on or after October 15, 2011 (register your full version/crossgrade or upgrade)—if you qualify, you’ll get an email with instructions to get your free upgrade
- You have a valid Avid Support contract/plan (just log in to the Download Center to get your free upgrade when available
